Rev. Diana Rodríguez Yambó, PhD.

Administrative Assistant

Rev. Dr. Diana Rodriguez Yambó was born in the city of Tampa, Florida, daughter of Adalberto Rodríguez and Victoria Yambó.  She has one sister, Mixiabel Rodriguez, two brothers, Maurice R. Fostater and Robert J. Rodriguez.  She also has five nephews (Jose “Macho”, Brandon, Wensley, Yandiel, Yondiel) and three nieces (Stefani, Victoria “Tori”, Isabella “Bella”).

At the young age of 2 her parents decided to relocate to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and settled in the city of Arecibo. She spent most of her youth in Puerto Rico where she began her education and graduated High School with high honors. In 1996 she was recognized by the Governor of Puerto Rico for her academic excellence.

While she was excelling in her academic pursuit, God was working in her life, preparing her for what would turn into a spiritual pursuit.  At the age of 11, one of her classmates began to share the gospel of salvation and continually invited her to church. When she couldn’t get Rev. Diana to church, she invited her to a Christian club called O.J.U.R., which met daily in one of the classrooms at the High School.  It was there where the Holy Spirit touched her life in a powerful way.  At the age of 15 she finally gave her life to Christ and became a member of the IDDPMI Dominguito church in Arecibo, PR.

Shortly after God began to work in her life, the family decided to return to Tampa, FL.  It was here where God unfolded His plan for her life and open doors for her leadership and ministry.  She became a member of the IDDPMI Church Avenue congregation under Rev. Dr. David Rivera Sr., where she has served for over 20 years.

God has blessed her with the opportunity to serve as the Youth Pastor for several years and then moved on to be on the church’s board of trustees.  She has worked within Church of God International Movement (IDDPMI) as well at a Regional and International level for several years and has ministerial credentials of the organization as an evangelist.  Dr. Rodriguez-Yambó for many years also served as a Professors at Mizpah Christian University.

Rev. Diana has also been blessed to have worked in the mission’s field, serving in countries such as Ecuador, Guatemala, India, Cuba, and Honduras.

She became an ordained minister through the Bringing Hope Ministry in 2012 under the covering of Rev. Dr. David Rivera Sr. She also worked alongside “Esperanza USA” which helps communities around the nation thru diverse outreach programs.  In 2007 she was invited to White House and met with President George W. Bush and was a part of National Hispanic Prayer Day at the White House.

God opened doors for her in Florida so she could continue her academic pursuit.  She currently holds a certificate in Pastoral Clinical Counseling, a bachelor’s degree in theology, master’s degree in Christian Counseling, and earned her PhD degree in Christian Clinical Counseling graduating Summa Cum Laden in 2016. She was also recently certified in Mental Health First Aid by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

She currently works with Visionaries of Christ Ministries as an administrative assistant.  God continues to open doors and fulfill His purpose in her life which we know it is all done for His Glory and for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
